'Highway 409' was born out of the ash's of 409 with Hans Van OYen Singing and playing Guitar backed up by Greg Marsh on lead Guitar and vocals, Norman Hunter on Piano, Terry Aspinall on Bass guitar and vocals. On drums was Frank Liu who later moved on and was followed by Gary Ebdon, Ryan Blunden and Simon Judd.
