‘Wishbone Jack’ came about because the music scene in Brisbane was going through hard times. Clubs and Agents did not want to pay for four piece bands. With this in mind Hans and myself thought we would try our hand as a duo. Our first gig was in March 1993 at the Jubilee Hotel without the use of a drum machine. It was all very raw but we proved a point that it could be done. Wishbone Jack had a couple of lineup changes, first we added a drum machine . then two years down the track we included my daughter Sharon as a singer. Later Lawrie Dillon was brought in on lead Guitar. This was the lineup we used when we recorded a few tracks that included ‘Jackson’.
